Dolce Violins Instrument Return Policies
14-Day Trial Period
At Dolce Violins, we want all of our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase of one of our instruments. Therefore, all Violins, Violas and Cellos are sold with a 14-day trial period. This trial period also applies to exchanges (see below). If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your instrument, be sure to contact us prior to the end of the 14-day trial period and we will discuss a return or a replacement.
Inspect Your Instrument
After receiving your instrument, please inspect it for damage that may have occurred during shipping. If you see that there is damage, please report it to us immediately. We will issue a return label so that you can ship the instrument back to us for repair. A replacement will be sent as soon as we have received the damaged instrument. If a replacement is sent, shipping will be free.
Getting Your Refund
If the instrument is in its original condition when we you return it, you will receive a 100% credit of the purchase price back to your credit card or other original payment method, less the cost of shipping. If the instrument is returned and is not in its original condition, a partial refund will be granted after our luthiers have assessed the damage and estimated the cost for repair. NOTE: The cost of shipping your returned instrument will be deducted from your refund. (See Shipping, below.)
Exchanging Your Instrument
If you wish to try another instrument in lieu of receiving a refund, we will be happy to send you another instrument. We offer two options in this instance:
1) Once we receive the instrument you are returning, we will ship you a replacement,
2) If you wish to keep the first instrument while trying the second instrument, you must purchase the second instrument before we can ship it to you.
You will be responsible for covering the costs of shipping any returned instrument. To save you money on shipping and to make the process easier, we will issue a return label which you can print out and attach to the packaging. Due to the volume of shipping we do with Fedex, this process will cut down on your shipping costs for any returned instruments.
Returns and Exchanges
There are a few important things to keep in mind when returning a product you purchased.You can return unwanted items by post within 7 working days of receipt of your goods.
- You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
- Only items that have been purchased directly from Us.
- Please ensure that the item you are returning is repackaged with all elements.
