Luthier Larry Bowers has been making violins for nearly five decades. He started as an apprentice in Colonial Williamsburg’s instrument maker’s shop, where he developed a passion for Baroque instruments. Bowers currently produces violins and violas based on both modern and historical models in his workshop in Middleway, VA.
