Dolce Violins

Trade-in Program

Dolce Violins Trade-in program allows a musician a flexible, affordable way to exchange instruments as their musical needs change. Whether it is changing sizes or stepping up to a better instrument, Trade-in keeps the musician in the instrument and bow best suited for them.

Instruments: Every customer who purchases an instrument at Dolce Violins has 100% of their purchase price to apply to their next instrument purchase.

Here are the details of the program:

1. Trade-in applies only to the original purchaser. It is not transferable nor assumable by a third party.

2. Trade-in assumes the instrument is in fine working condition. Dolce Violins reserves the right to assess fees for reconditioning (i.e. new strings) as well as the cost of any repairs that may be necessary, adjusting the percentage of allowable Trade-in accordingly.

3. Customers may use the Trade-in program for any similar (e.g. violin – violin; cello – cello) instrument. There are no limits on how much or how little the equity difference. No cash refund is given should the customer choose an instrument that is less than their equity.

4. Trade-in may not be applied toward the purchase of strings or other accessories. Cases and other “consumable items” are not considered part of the Trade-in program.

5. Certain sales are exempt from the Trade-in program such as special “as-is” sales or sales to schools and organizations.

6. The Trade-in program does not make any provisions for nor imply that Dolce Violins will “re-purchase” an instrument.

Bows: Every customer who purchases a bow at Dolce Violins has 100% of their purchase price to apply to their next instrument purchase.

1. This program is for bows traded in and must be in immediately resalable condition.

2. The credited bow must have new hair, not be warped, nor have a broken tip or worn grip. The winding must be good condition. The customer will need to have those conditions corrected first before it is eligible for the credit.

3. The credit will be applied after the bow has been received and evaluated by the staff at Dolce Violins.
