Full Description
Émile Boulangeot (1877–1944) was a French violin maker who apprenticed with Émile Laurent in Mirecourt and later worked in Paris for Gustave Bernardel and Caressa & Français. Around 1912 he succeeded to the Paul Blanchard workshop in Lyon and became the official maker to the Lyons Conservatory. His known output includes about 175 violins, 7 violas, and 28 cellos, often prized for elegant workmanship and sweet tone.
