A Fine, Older German Violin in Excellent Condition c. 1910
Full Description
There is an air of mystery surrounding this fine German violin. Because this instrument bears no label or stamp, we cannot know for sure its exact provenance. However, this is what we do know – This violin was made by a highly skilled German violin maker, who used very high-quality tone woods and embellished the instrument with a finely carved scroll and nicely laid purfling. The back is constructed of two-piece maple with medium-flame.
The varnish offers a lovely patina of a light golden color that was tastefully antiqued by the maker, and shows the natural age of an instrument that may be over a century old.
This violin has been carefully set up by our expert luthier and is in perfect playing condition for its new owner.
