German – Markneukirchen Violin c. 1930 – Dolce Violins
Full Description
A fine and interesting Markneukirchen Violin c. 1930, with a label that reads “Made under the direction of Ernst Heinrich Roth”
Although the label has an air of mystery about it, the violin itself speaks of classic Markneukirchen quality. The violin shows all of the attention to detail expected of Roth violins of this era.
In this Stradivari model violin we see quality tonewood selection, purfling that is finely inlaid with b stings at the corners, and a delicately carved scroll that all show the fine hand of an experienced maker.
