Alvin T. King is an American violin maker trained by several prominent teachers, including Karl Roy of the Mittenwald violin-making school and acoustics researcher Carleen Hutchins. His background includes work with the Catgut Acoustical Society and further study with makers such as Willis M. Gault, Deena Zalkind Spear, Robert Spear, Geary Baese, and Terry Borman.
