Core Select 2900 – Ming Jiang Zhu Violin – This instrument is an example of the workshop’s typical Guarneri patterned violin.

Since 1991, the  Ming-Jiang Zhu Workshop has been distinguishing itself as one of China’s finest ateliers. Based in Guangzhou, the workshop was founded by Ming-Jiang Zhu, who trained under respected luthier Guo-Hui Liang and has been recognized as one of “the top 5% of violin makers in the world today.”

The  Ming-Jiang Zhu Workshop creates superior instruments in the tradition of the Baroque Italian masters. They have been consistently praised for their rich and powerful tone. Ming-Jiang Zhu has won over 19 international violin-making awards, and his staff has garnered a combined 23 awards, including 2 gold and 3 silver medals in the Violin Society of America’s competitions.
