A fine example of a 1923 Ernst Heinrich Roth violin patterned after Antonio Stradivarius 1724. This model VIIIR Roth violin features all of the workmanship so sought after from this famous Markneukirchen firm including impeccable wood-working, a very fine and elegant scroll and precisely inlaid purfling. Excellent quality tonewoods were chosen for this violin that include medium straight grain spruce, and highly flamed maple back neck and ribs.
