A violin from the Heberlein workshop circa 1905 built on a Stradivarius pattern. Markneukirchen quality is evident throughout the violin with it’s expertly carved scroll with near perfect proportions, the finely inlaid purfling ending in bee stings at the corners, and the delicate fluting on the f’s. Unfortunately the original label was removed and replaced by a D W Davenport whom little is known about.
