Hermann Geipel was born in Bad Brambach, Vogtland Germany in 1862. He apprenticed with Ludwig Glaesel II in Markneukirchen.
This instrument modeled after the “Earl” Strad of 1722 has a very pleasing warm round sound. It’s buttery tonal qualities are available in all ranges with a particularly round E string sound.
