Piergiuseppe Esposti, born in Cremona in 1952, is a respected Italian violin maker recognized for his dedication to the modern Cremonese tradition. He studied at the International School of Violin Making in Cremona, graduating in 1971 under the mentorship of Pietro Sgarabotto. After completing his studies, he worked alongside the esteemed luthier Francesco Bissolotti, further refining his skills before establishing his own workshop in 1972. Esposti’s craftsmanship is deeply rooted in the classical Cremonese style, producing violins, violas, and cellos that uphold the high standards of post-war Italian violin making. His instruments are known for their meticulous construction and tonal quality, reflecting the legacy of Cremona’s rich lutherie heritage.
