Son of François Lotte, Roger François Lotte was born in 1922 in Mirecourt. Roger began his apprenticeship with his father François in 1935 when he was a mear 13 year old boy, by 1940 he became his fathers main collaborator and worked alongside François until his retirement in 1960. Roger continued to supply a large number of fine bows to Mirecourt and Paris shops well after his father passed away in 1970.
