Romeo Franchi was an Italian violin maker active in Cremona in the early 20th century. Born in 1865, he worked during the period of renewed violin making in Cremona following the city’s long post-classical decline. His work represents part of the broader revival of Cremonese violin making in the years preceding the establishment of the modern Cremona violin school.
