Build Credit Toward Ownership While You Rent

At Dolce Violins, every violin, viola, cello, or bass rental includes automatic enrollment in our Rental Credit Program. As you rent, you earn credit that can later be applied toward the purchase of an instrument from our shop. It’s a flexible, no-commitment way to build value while you play.

How It Works

Earn Credit Automatically
Each month you rent, a portion of your payment accrues as rental credit. You can apply this credit toward the purchase of any violin, viola, cello, or bass we carry (excluding consignments), up to 50% of the instrument’s retail price.

Example: If an instrument is priced at $3,000, you may apply up to $1,500 in rental credit.

Choose the Right Instrument for You
You are not limited to purchasing the instrument you’ve been renting. Your credit can be applied to any qualifying instrument in our shop, allowing for upgrades or changes in size or model.

Condition Requirement
If you’re applying rental credit toward a different instrument, the original rental must be returned in good condition. Any necessary repairs must be completed at the renter’s expense before credit can be applied.

Instruments Only
Rental credit may be used toward the purchase of instruments only. It cannot be applied to bows, cases, or accessories.

Non-Transferable Credit
Credit is valid for the original renter only and cannot be transferred to another individual.

Use Within One Year
Your rental credit remains valid for up to one year after your rental has ended.
