A lovely smallish 3/4 size violin made circa 1890 from the famed violin making town of Mittenwald. The violin has high arching prefered by makers of the Klotz school. The quality of the tonewood and precise execution of the woodworking indicates that this violin may have been made for the child of a wealthy patron. The violin has been completely worked over by our luthiers and is offered in very good condition with only a few small repaired cracks to report. Highly recommended for an advanced young student who needs an antique European violin.
