This early 20th-century German viola features traditional workshop craftsmanship and a compact 15 ⅜″ body length. The instrument is constructed with a two-piece flamed maple back, matching maple ribs and scroll, and a straight-grained spruce top, and is finished in a transparent amber-gold varnish.

The viola has been fully inspected and professionally worked over in our workshop prior to offering for sale. Normal surface wear consistent with age and use is present.
