A silver mounted viola bow of Pernambuco by Douglas Raguse made in 2022

Douglas Raguse is a very accomplished, contemporary American bow maker. He has had two shops over the course of 30+ years, one in Chicago and the other in Leelanau, Michigan where he currently resides. As a string player himself he brings a lot of expertise to bow making and is able to construct bows that meet the musician’s demands and needs. He has won several awards for his exemplary craftsmanship.
