Reproduction of Nicola Amati, Cremona 1670

This 1925 violin from the Ernst Heinrich Roth workshop is built on the firm’s Model IIIR, inspired by Nicola Amati’s 1670 design. Roth’s Amati models from this period are known for their elegant arching, refined woodwork, beautifully applied varnish, and warm, nuanced tonal palette.
