Genovese Cello – 7/8 Size Stradivari Model – Finished by Rachel Soroka

A cello from the workshop of Dolce Violins finished by master luthier Rachael Soroka. This workshop instrument is created with very fine tonewoods, constructed on a model of Antonio Stradivari, and varnished using traditional European methods.

Our luthier partner for the Genovese cello is Rachael Soroka who resides in Northern California. Soroka is an expert restorer and is exceptionally talented at tonal optimization. Soroka reworks the graduations of the top and back and fits a new bass bar to optimize the tonal capacity of the cello. Soroka then sets up the cello to professional standards.
