Full Description
William Tubbs was part of the renowned Tubbs family of English bow makers. The son of bow maker Thomas Tubbs, he worked at the Dodd workshop under the tutelage of James and Edward Dodd III. After he left Dodd, he continued to make bows under his own name and was assisted by many of his children, including James who would become a famed atelier in his own right.
