French Violin
The French violin was born in Mirecourt in the 1600s. This city’s legendary luthiers perfected the art of violin-making, and the craft expanded to workshops in Paris, Lille, Lyon and other regions of France. Dolce Violins carries high-quality antique French violins from respected historical makers, including Charles François Gand, Caressa & Francais, Charlotte, Amédée Dieudonné, Emile Fétique, H. Derazey, Joseph Hel, and Pierre Hel.
